CHRIS + SUE NYE WEDDING

When Sue and Chris reached out to me about photographing their NYE wedding I was ecstatic! They are the nicest couple ever and Sue and I have the same love of black and white.

It was a NYE wedding with all the touches! Gold, sequins, NYE hats, noice makers, great food, love and even a visit from Dacks - the couples adorable doggie. Sue and Chris live right on Saratoga Lake so it was the perfect place to have their ceremony, at St. Isaac Jogues Chapel, and then portraits by the almost frozen lake. It was chilly but soooo worth it….it was a winter wonderland.

The second part of the day took part at one of my favorite venues - Saratoga Lake Golf Club. It is a new clubhouse…literally new….like this is the first celebration there ever! They did an amazing job with the decor of this venue - think high ceiling, open floor plan with a modern Adirondack feel. Sue and Chris did an amazing job decorating the venue. I actually stopped in the day before to get the lay of the land and Sue was there with her girl gang decking it out. Such care and thought went into the day… and with a group of friends and family like that, there was no way it wasn’t going to be amazing. The colors were all in gold, black and white with touches of greenery and white faux antlers. It was breathtaking.

The night was full of multiple food spreads, Sue changing from one chic gown to the other, different hair do’s by the one and only Cheri at Sanctuary Salon. So many friends and families celebrating Sue and Chris and the new year! I wouldn’t want to spend my NYE another way!
