Gina had me at hello….

Literally. I remember hopping on a phone call to chat with her, and it was love at first phone call. Once I heard her upbeat voice and amazing attitude, I knew we were kindred spirits. She told me of her dream of getting married at the Sagamore since she was a little girl, some special details she had planned for the day and about her love story with Rob, and I knew I needed to be the one to capture this day.

A few postponements and a lot of quick thinking… Vivian and Alex made the most of their pandemic wedding. I instantly hit if off with this amazing couple when I met them for coffee one day at a local spot. Vivian and Alex were fun, relaxed and my kinda people. I was over the moon when they decided to hire me as their wedding photographer. Little did we know, Covid was around the corner and the wedding they originally planned for was turned upside down. With their quick thinking and vendors being on board for dates moving…magic was made.

If you know me, you know I love anything period piece. This shoot is inspired by my visit to the MET to see a Dutch Masters art exhibit. I love a good still life. But not only did I find those at the exhibit, but the portraits with the ruffled collars, the moodiness of the paintings, and the jewel tones really spoke to me.

I have been wanting to blog this wedding for a year…and today is the perfect day since it is Victoria and Andrew’s one year anniversary. I have had a year of family crisis - starting on 1.26.20…hence me not getting this blog up during last winters season. But today is the perfect day to blog this winter wonderland wedding - it is Victoria and Andrew’s one year anniversary!

At the end of last summer I had a total treat. I flew to Oregon to photograph Gina and Mike’s wedding. It was amazing! I was totally floored by how lush it was the west was. The shades of green we totally enchanting and it was like being in a fairyland.

Daniella and Samson had the wedding of their dreams at one of my favorite venues, The Takk House. Classic styling, mixed with retro vibes were on the menu and it was perfection.

What wedding style do you get when you marry European charm and old world Manhattan elegance? Curry and Marius’s amazing NYC wedding! Every detail was so well thought out and planned. Between the bride and grooms attention to style, the stunning venue locations, breath taking florals and a quintessential NYC day…it was sheer perfection.

When Hannah from Gypsy Blooms Floral told me about her dreams of an equestrian elopement, I couldn’t resist. Coming from Saratoga Springs, a town enriched in equine culture, this was right up my alley. The florals were bold, our model/bride was charming and fun to work with & Benson the horse was the star of the day.

When Sue and Chris reached out to me about photographing their NYE wedding I was ecstatic! They are the nicest couple ever and Sue and I have the same love of black and white.
