WINTERY SURPRISE PROPOSAL

When Sean contacted me and asked if I’d come and be a fly on the wall at his surprise proposal to Stacy - I was all in! I mean, what an opportunity! He had it all planned out. I met up with his soon to be father in law to show me where to hang out and get get the best vantage point, without looking too paparazzi-ish. After a short ATV ride in the snow down to the frozen bank of the lake and a couple reassuring stomps on the lake to make sure it was actually frozen - I was ready.

I could hear the crunching of the snow and knew the soon to be engaged couple were on their way. Standing smack dab alone on the ice, with not another human around, I was totally aware I stuck out like a sore thumb. So I did my best of kicking snow and doing my best rendition of a nature lover, taking in the gorgeous day, so Stacy wouldn’t suspect anything. Once I saw him pop down on his knee it was lights, camera, action and I shot away. It was so sweet.

She said yes! They had bubbly, laughs and kisses. He had their parents waiting for them back at the lake house as a surprise so they could all celebrate. I’d say Sean did an amazing job!
