An engagement shoot at the Mount in Lenox, Ma

Jen and Kyle wanted a fun engagement shoot with a couple different looks and locations. We had a great fall day and so much fun. You would never guess it was so chilly, Jen was a trooper. I loved her wardrobe choices and think we ended up with so many amazing images for them to use.

I was so thrilled when Ashley mentioned she wanted a NYC engagement session. I have been dying to shoot at Bethesda Fountain for the longest time. Then I got even more excited when she said that she and Leo were going to dress up. Ugh. I love formal wear for an engagement session!

The Catskill Mountains never disappoint when it comes to engagement sessions…or anything for that matter! I was over the moon when Alex and Matt mentioned they were going be staying at The Foxfire Mountain House and wanted to do their E-sesh there!

What can I say? I love what I do….and surprise proposals hold such a special place in my heart. Devon was so on top of planning his proposal to Victoria! He reached out a little over a month before, asking if I would photograph his surprise proposal.

I love meeting my couples in person before their weddings. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, depending on our proximity to each other. As luck would have it, Vivian and Alex are fellow Saratogian’s.

Oh Rachel and Peter…..sometimes you meet a couple and know it’s love at first site…for all of you! I had a great time getting to know them via email and phone calls, but it was their engagement session that we really hit it off.

Gorgeous day, stunning couple and a long flowy chiffon dress…..the shoot was set up to be brilliant right out of the gate. Sara + Kyle are the cutest couple ever! We had a lot of fun walking around the park and they were into every little place we stopped to shoot.

When Sean contacted me and asked if I’d come and be a fly on the wall at his surprise proposal to Stacy - I was all in! I mean, what an opportunity! He had it all planned out. I met up with his soon to be father in law to show me where to hang out and get get the best vantage point, without looking too paparazzi-ish. After a short ATV ride in the snow down to the frozen bank of the lake and a couple reassuring stomps on the lake to make sure it was actually frozen - I was ready.

A love story taken to new heights! When Gina and I chatted about doing an engagement shoot, one place came to mind - Whiteface Mountain.
