I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog Ashley and Leo’s gorgeous wedding at the Roundhouse in Beacon, NY! Their incredible wedding took place in spring 2021, after we had all come out of the COVID-19 lockdowns, so it was special for so many reasons. I remember helping Ashley and Leo plan for their wedding and all of the uncertainty we had leading up to their celebration, but it all turned out perfectly - and they were able to celebrate with their loved ones. Restrictions were lifted before their celebration, so their guests could dance and have their masks off. I know that little change made all of the difference for Ashley and Leo. The entire day felt like a celebration for more than one reason.

Fun fact for you… The Roundhouse properties were mostly built in the 1800s and it started as a textile factory. I love exploring here because there’s so many great spots - including the brick structures, waterfall, and more modern gardens. Ashley and Leo decided to have a first look near the waterfall and then we moved towards the brick buildings for more portraits with them and their bridal party. I love the variety we could capture all at one location! Ashley truly had an old Hollywood glam for her bridal look. I loved her gown and the waves in her hair tumbling down her shoulders all day long. She looked beautiful. Leo sported a traditional English morning suit, complete with a blue tie and vest, which looked very dapper.

When we did their engagement shoot, which you can see here, it was very classic, NYC vibes. So I was not surprised to see the juxtaposition to a more modern day when I arrived at their wedding. Ashley and Leo held their ceremony on the lawn, with a gorgeous greenery wall behind them. It felt so modern and we were all happy to enjoy the beautiful June weather! Afterwards, their guests were able to mingle outside before heading into the reception. The reception space at The Roundhouse is incredible. It’s definitely industrial and has a gorgeous big windows. I love the modern industrial feel and I know Ashley and Leo did too. They decorated the space with a modern black and white palette. - including the most gorgeous china pattern! Ashley and Leo also kept things modern with geometric inspired place cards and a beautiful marbled wedding cake! However, the best part might have been that Ashley and Leo surprised their guests with Hora Loco to get the party going! It was amazing and electric. Everyone was dancing the night away… which was so needed in June 2021.

Congratulations, Ashley and Leo! I’m so happy for you both and I hope that married life has been treating you so well. I loved going back through your beautiful day to get this blog ready - and I hope you enjoy looking back, too!
